Named after John Sullivan, Revolutionary War general, the county of Sullivan, PA was created in 1847 with an approx area of 452 sq mi. Laporte is the county seat and Dushore is the biggest city of the county. With a population of over 6.4K including about 2.6K households and 1.7Kfamilies, the county is the least populous among the other Pennsylvanian counties.
